BACHELOR OF SCIENCE (INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY) (B.SC. IT)
The B.Sc. (I.T) program was started in our esteemed institute from the academic year 2009-2010, under the guidance and support of management and our beloved Principal. It provides the students of various programs (Science, Commerce, Arts) to pursue Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology. On completion of the program students have opportunity to advance their academic qualification by pursing masters programs such as M.Sc. (IT), MCA, MBA, etc. Information Technology is an ever-expanding field, which finds application in a wide array of areas such as finance, commerce, accounts, medicine, statistics, engineering, animation, multimedia etc.
ELIGIBILITY:
0.5051: A candidate for being eligible for admission to the Degree Programme in Bachelor of Science (Information Technology) shall have passed XII std. examination of Maharashtra State of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its Equivalent with Mathematics & Statistics and secured not less than 45% marks in aggregate in case of students belonging to Open Category and 40% in aggregate in case of Reserved Category at one and at the same sitting. Every Candidate admitted to the Degree Programme shall have to register himself/herself with the University of Mumbai.
COURSE STRUCTURE:
The course shall be a full-time course. The duration of the course shall be of six semesters spread over three years.

The course will have six semesters conducted on the revised pattern using Credit Based Semester System and Grading pattern. All examinations will be conducted by the UniversityOf Mumbai.
Each subject in all semesters will be evaluated for 150 marks which are bifurcated as 75 marks written examination 25 marks internal evaluation and 50 marks practical examination in which minimum of 30 marks in external, 10 marks in internal & 20 marks in practical exam are required to pass a subject.
