MASTER OF COMMERCE (M. COM) (MANAGEMENT)
The college offers the two year- M.Com. (Masters in Commerce) programme with Management, which is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. The current pattern for M. Com is the Choice Based Grading System, which has been introduced by the University of Mumbai. The M. Com program is therefore divided into four semesters (two years). The college provides M. Com students special facilities like internet access for their study, special examination-oriented lectures, flexible time-table, extended library borrowings etc. Classes are held in the mornings.
ELIGIBILITY:
0.5977: A Learner for being eligible for admission to the Post Graduate i.e. Master of Commerce, shall have passed the examination for the Degree of Bachelor of Commerce (three years/ Six Semester integrated course) or the other semester based Programmes i.e. Bachelor of Commerce (Banking & Insurance), Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance) or Bachelor of Commerce (Finance Markets) or Bachelor of Management Studies of this University, or an examination of any other University recognized as equivalent thereto.
COURSE STRUCTURE:
The institution is offering two-year (Four semesters) M.Com. program since 2006 – 2007 in the Management group. The in-take capacity is of 80 students per semester.
M.Com. students at our institution enjoy personal one – to – one contact with all teachers and personal attention from them. They also have access to the teacher off – campus for academic purpose and guidance. We are reputed to have one of the most approachable and helpful teaching staff as per feedback of students.
The M.Com. program has an examination pattern consisting of 60 marks written examination and 40 marks of internal assessment (test) for each subject. There is also a 100 marks project in Semester III and IV Semester along with viva – voce. M. Com. students are free to utilize the free ‘E-Corner’ facility for preparing their assignments, in the library (consisting of four broadband internet enabled computers, exclusively for students).
