- Our college has a fully functional Women Development Cell – SPARSH as per the directives of UWDC, University Women Development Cell for creating rules of discipline and conduct prohibiting sexual harassment since 2009. (Vide Circular No. WDC / VCD / 240 of 2008.)
- We have fulfilled all mandatory requirement of forming the WDC, including an NGO representative from the NGO MAVA (Men Against Violence and Abuse).
- WDC also conducts a Gender Sensitization workshop for NSS volunteers during the NSS rural residential camp.
- Regular workshops for faculty as well as students are conducted on various issues like preventing child abuse, women’s health issues etc. Are also conducted. The WDC will give top priority to examining the complaints of Women regarding Sexual Harassment and suggest appropriate measure in that regard.
